My name is Josep Claret. I am a Spanish, Catalan and French teacher. I was born near Barcelona. My mother tongues are Spanish and Catalan. I speak French as a native language after living there for seven years. I can help you with language teaching and translation services.
I have always been fascinated by the power of languages to change the world. Since I was a child, I have been dreaming of travelling, living in other countries, and speaking their languages. So, I decided to study Translation and Interpretation in French and I also got a Certification in Education (C.A.P.) at Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2007.

About me

I lived seven years in France, and this allowed me to master French. I also lived five and a half years in Ireland. These experiences allowed me to understand better these countries cultures. My various experiences as a teacher, translator and customer care specialist in these countries have allowed me to enrich my professional and personal life. I am currently living in Tuscany, Italy.
I will be happy to help you if you want to learn Spanish, French or Catalan, or if you need documents to be translated from French or English into Spanish or Catalan.

How my lessons are?

Spanish and Catalan are my mother tongues. In addition to this, I am a native French speaker after living in France for several years. I have taught one-to-one and in small groups Spanish, French and Catalan lessons for companies and schools in Barcelona, Paris and now in Italy. Finally, I have offered private online and on-site lessons of these languages.

I prepare interactive, fun and efficient activities for different levels, from beginner to advanced. My lessons are adapted and customized to student’s needs and purposes, whether these are professional, touristic, academic, or business reasons.

In my online lessons, I normally work with Google documents, online resources, videos, articles and pictures. I generally use Zoom and Skype, but I am open to other options.

My lessons are more focused on oral expression to motivate the student to speak and make him/her feel comfortable. But I can perfectly adapt the lessons more for writing purposes, grammar, or vocabulary.

Yes, the first 30 minutes trial lesson is free. During this trial lesson, let’s establish your needs and goals and I can also evaluate your level. 

I offer 10% discount packs 10 hours of lessons, which allows students to save on their investment in language lessons.
